Rapper DMX was busted yet again – this time at a Phoenix mall by his good ‘pal’ the Maricopa County Sheriff.
According to cops, DMA aka Earl Simmons used the name "Troy Jones" when he visited Scottsdale’s Mayo Clinic. "Troy" has neglected to pay a $7, 5000 bill.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio said his office began investigating DMX on suspected charges of animal cruelty last year at the rapper’s Phoenix compound. DMX was arrested on felony drug possession and animal cruelty.
Other recent entries in DMX’s rap sheet include a run in at the Phoenix airport for outstanding warrants and failure to appear in court. The week prior he was busted in Miami on charges of attempting to buy marijuana and cocaine.
"He’s back in jail again," Sheriff Arpaio said. "I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out."
The sheriff then added that if DMX remains behind bars he will be isolated from the other cons for his own protection.
"They may not like his music," he stated, matter-of-factly.
