DJ AM FOUND DEAD

Less than a year after surviving a plane crash, DJ AM Adam Goldstein is dead from suspected drug OD. Autopsy inconclusive.
NYPD said celeb disc jockey DJ AM, 36, was found dead in his $2 million SoHo pad at 210 Lafayette Street in Manhattan.
Reportedly, actor Alex Burns went to check on his pal when Goldstein missed a flight, but after banging on his door for several minutes with no response, he called 911.
First responders then smashed the door down, finding DJ AM's corpse at 5:20 PM EDT.
DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, was a deejay for hire who performed at Hollywood's most exclusive parties. He was tab fodder for on-off-again GFs Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore.
Moore flew to his side after the South Carolina crash that killed four others last summer.
Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was the other crash survivor.
Goldstein's death is believed to be a drug OD because of various drug paraphernalia found near the body including a glassine bag of crack found near the body, according to a NYPD source.
Goldstein had openly admitted past addictions to crack cocaine, Ecstasy and other drugs, but claimed he had been drug-free for years. Ironically, he was to have hosted an MTV anti-drug special aimed at tweens.
Goldstein's last official Tweet 3 days ago was a cryptic nod to the city of dream/nightmare polarities:"New york, New York. Big city of dreams but everything in new york aint always what it seems."
