Clint Eastwood political pundit at large – dirty!
The former Mayor of Carmel, California plays it close to the Magnum .44 — much like his character Dirty Harry.
Responding to a query at the NY Film Fest about who won the Veep Prez debate, cagey Clint said "One of the candidates the other night seemed more prone to telling the truth than the other."
The upscale chi-chi NY crowd thought he was referring to Dem Veep candidate Joe Biden but then Eastwood, ever the Changeling, said, “I liked her too.”
He also told John McCain that when they met recently that he told the Senator, "Don’t even ask it – I will not be a vice-presidential candidate."
Too bad – that would’ve been the Dirtiest Harry of all.
