DEMI'S CHILLING 911 TAPE: "SHE SMOKED SOMETHING"

DEMI MOORE was "shaking, convulsing and burning up" a friend says in a frantic 911 call from the night she was rushed to the hospital.

Several friends took turns talking to the 911 operator, trying to get help for Demi. When the operator asks what Moore ingested or smoked, a friend replies, but the answer was redacted. The pal is heard saying "she smoked something. It's not marijuana, it's similar to incense." She added, "She's been having some issues lately with some other stuff. So I don't know what she's been taking or not."

It appears Demi's daughter RUMER WILLIS was on the scene as her mom went in and out of consciousness. A male friend can be heard calling "Ru" for help. By the end of the tape, the man says Demi has "calmed down and is speaking... she is much calmer... now she's breathing fine, she's not convulsing she's talking fine, she's leaning up.”

A rep for Moore, who recently split with hubby ASHTON KUTCHER said Tuesday, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
