After years of trying to conceive a baby, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are secretly adopting a child.
The whole family is delighted, and Demi’s three daughters by ex-husband Bruce Willis can’t wait for their new sibling to arrive, confide sources.
Demi, 46, and 30-year-old Ashton are believed to be going through a private adoption agency and hope to be by the summer. It’s a well-deserved triumph for the couple who suffered through failed attempts at in vitro fertilization and a suspected miscarriage.
"Both Ashton and Demi finally came to terms with the reality that (childbirth) is just not going to happen for them," an insider told The ENQUIRER. "They had always resisted adoption because they wanted a baby of their own, but now everything has changed.
"They feel this is the best thing that could happen because they are able to give a child a great, loving start in life.
"After all the disappointments and the IVF treatments, everyone is really excited that they are making their dream come true," the friend divulged.
The pair are considering adopting a baby from outside California, but are keeping the details secret for now, said the friend. And pals are speculating they may not stop at adopting one child!
Ghost star Demi has said she’d like a boy to "balance out the estrogen" after having girls – Rumer, 20, Scout, 17, and Tallulah, 15.
"It’s a win-win situation," said the insider. "They can’t wait to bring the baby home in the summer."
