NEW DETAILS: Facebook founder MARK ZUCKERBERG – whose rise to fame and fortune is the subject of the hit movie The Social Network – has taken out a restraining order after fearing for his life from an alleged stalker determined to extort money from the young billionaire
The ENQUIRER has exclusively obtained court papers revealing that the 26-year-old Internet billionaire detailing the restraining order against a man who allegedly bombarded him with bizarre e-mails and letters before showing up on his doorstep and at his office.
"The person has continued to follow, surveil and contact Mr. Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety," Zuckerberg’s lawyer Brian Hennessy states in the court documents.
The alleged stalker is identified as Pradeep Manukonda, of Milpitas, Calif., and Zuckerberg claims he has shown up at his five-bedroom rental home in Palo Alto, Calif., spent days skulking outside Facebook offices and has sent scores of frightening e-mails and letters to the brainy entrepreneur.
Referring to Zuckerberg as "My almighty", Mark and Facebook security team were on high alert as the alleged stalker tried to deliver a chilling message in person January 24th.
