David Copperfield has secretly fathered two children with a stunning Czech model half his age, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
The bombshell revelation that the single 51-year-old magician has not one love child, but two, comes as a federal grand jury continues to investigate rape allegations made against him by a Seattle woman.
The ENQUIRER has identified the mother of Copperfield’s son and daughter as leggy stunner Marie Petlickova, 25. The brown-eyed beauty – who confirmed Copperfield is the father of her children – has modeled for Victoria’s Secret and posed for the cover of "GQ" magazine.
The ENQUIRER has also learned Marie, along with her children and her mother, lives in a ritzy Las Vegas home purchased by Copperfield.
The luxury residence is valued at more than $1.5 million and sits on the grounds of an exclusive country club just outside Sin City, according to public property records obtained by The ENQUIRER.
Those documents reveal the home is owned by "David Kotkin LLC," a company controlled by Copperfield – whose real name is David Kotkin.
When The ENQUIRER contacted Copperfield’s representatives about our story, we received a statement from Marie’s Las Vegas-based attorney, who quoted her as saying: "David is a wonderful, loving and caring father. Please respect our privacy."
The ENQUIRER is withholding the ages and names of the master illusionist’s two young children.
Marie raises his secret love children out of the public eye, but Copperfield continues to lead a jet-set lifestyle.
"While David Copperfield does his magic shows and acts like a single guy, he actually has two young children with Marie, and he’s quietly taken responsibility for them," a source in Czechoslovakia told The ENQUIRER.
"Marie has been living with her mother and two children in a home purchased by Copperfield since 2006."
According to published reports in Czechoslovakia, the 5-foot-8 stunner became pregnant with her first child by Copperfield while she was dating Czech TV producer Jan Fulin.
"Marie and Jan dated for two years. During that time, she met Copperfield and got pregnant by him. Despite that, she married Jan," said the source.
"Jan initially assumed Marie’s baby was his. For almost six months, he, Marie and the baby lived together like one big, happy family."
But a DNA test performed in the Czech Republic confirmed Copperfield was the father of Marie’s infant son, said the source.
"Marie informed Jan that the baby was Copperfield’s and also asked him for a divorce so Copperfield could move her and their son to America," said the source.
"Jan was deeply hurt, but ended up granting Marie the divorce."
Since moving to Las Vegas, Marie has given birth to a second child – a girl – with Copperfield.
When The ENQUIRER contacted Marie’s ex-husband Jan Fulin for comment, he responded in an e-mail: "I do not wish to comment (on) the case anymore… I have moved on."
Meanwhile, Marie dreams of tying the knot with her magic man, said the source.
"Marie has two children with Copperfield and wants to get married," said the source. "Right now, she’s hoping David’s name will be cleared of the rape claims. She knows he’s innocent."
The ENQUIRER has withheld the name of the 21-year-old model who’s accused Copperfield of rape because we do not identify victims of a possible sex crime.
The woman has told authorities the magician forced himself on her at his private $50 million island resort in the Bahamas in July 2007.
