After three drunk driving busts, DAVID CASSIDY is FINALLY getting help for his alcohol problems, The National ENQUIRER has exclusively learned.
The former “Partridge Family” star, 65, has checked into rehab after filing for bankruptcy while facing a nasty divorce.
“He’s trying to get help,” his son, Beau, 24, told The ENQUIRER.
At the same time, David’s estranged wife of 24 years, Susan Shifrin Cassidy, has moved out of their Florida home.
The couple is trying to work out the separation of property amicably, according to their son.
The home in Fort Lauderdale has been on the market for some time, and David’s slashed the price to $3.2 million.
“She [Susan] is going through some stuff, and I’m spending some time here getting stuff out of the house,” said Beau.
“Everything is fine,” he added, noting the couple’s divorce is “at a standstill until they go through mediation. They’re seeing if the house can go to auction.”
