THE ENQUIRER has discovered that the bride of “Pawn Stars” boss RICK HARRISON is hiding a dark secret!
Harrison wed 38-year-old legal worker Deanna Burditt in a star-studded ceremony on July 21, but an ENQUIRER investigation reveals that the brunette beauty is still tormented by her previous union.
Her ex-husband, Richard Burditt, was busted on a variety of sex-related charges in September 2009 – yet the creep is still out on the streets after posting $18,024 in bail!
“Rick is very protective of Deanna,” said a family insider. “She’s the love of his life, and the fact that this sicko is still out there running around free just makes his blood boil.”
Burditt, a former school custodian whose divorce from Deanna was finalized in 2004, was charged with lewdness involving a child, voyeurism, dealing in harmful material to a minor and forcible sex abuse with a teenage female.
Meanwhile, Harrison, 48, recently admitted on a radio show that a “close family member” had something “really bad” happen to her. Turns out that the History channel star was talking about Deanna. Harrison fumed that Deanna’s 45-year-old ex “hasn’t spent a day in jail because of all the bureaucracy” even though he pleaded guilty to felony counts of forcible sexual abuse and dealing in materials harmful to a minor.
Washington County prosecutor Ryan J. Shaum told The ENQUIRER that Burditt will ultimately serve anywhere between one and 15 years in jail, but nothing will be finalized until his sentencing on Sept. 6. And that apparently irks Harrison.
“Rick won’t rest until he sees Richard behind bars,” said the insider.
“This whole situation has been extremely distressing for both him and Deanna. After all these years, they just want to see justice finally served.”
