The Super Bowl champion wide receiver was named this season's winner after an impressive run this season with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd.
He was flanked by his family as confetti and streamers rained down on the ballroom stage in celebration of his win following the handing off the coveted mirrorball.
Driver, who joins Hines Ward and Emmitt Smith as gridiron greats turned Dancing champs, edged out Welsh beauty Katherine Jenkins and Cuban hunk William Levy for the honors following a night in which he racked up 59 total points with a 29-point tango and 30-point freestyle.
"It took me 13 years to win the Super Bowl," Driver said. "I'm just glad it took me one season to win the mirrorball."
Gladys Knight and Kelly Clarkson performed on Tuesday's show, which featured a final dance from all of this season's contestants, including Knight, Martina Navratilova, Gavin DeGraw, Jack Wagner, Jaleel White, Sherri Shepherd, Melissa Gilbert, Roshon Feganand Maria Menounos.
Dancing with the Stars returns next season with a cast of former standout contestants, RadarOnline.com reported.
