COURTNEY LOVE DAUGHTER SPIRALS OUT OF CONTROL

IS Courtney Love’s little girl headed down the same destructive path as her parents?

That’s what friends fear after 21-year-old Frances Bean Cobain – daughter of Courtney and late Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain – recently made references to drinking, smoking and drug use on social media.

Grunge rocker Cobain shot himself in 1994 at the age of 27 after a long battle with cocaine and heroin. Courtney, 49, has a lengthy history with heroin, cocaine and the prescription drug Adderall.

On Dec. 13, Frances, who refers to herself as a “goth wino” on her Twitter profile, posted the message: “Sooo hungover & hungry, worst state to wake up in, ever.” She’s also posted pictures of herself with a cigarette in hand and talked about drug paraphernalia, including bongs and pipes.

“It’s frightening,” said a friend. “It might be normal behavior for a 21-year-old with her history, but it could be the start of a nightmare.”

Until recently, those close to Frances believed she’d escaped the demons that plagued her infamous parents. But over the past few years, she seems to have embraced the rocker lifestyle, adopting a “grunge” look and getting engaged to 28-year-old Isaiah Silva, front man and guitarist for the band The Rambles.

In 2010, Frances inherited 37 percent of her late father’s estimated $450 million estate and purchased a $1.8 million home in Hollywood. Those who know her say she’s a talented artist who has the world at her fingertips – and they’re hoping her recent antics are just a phase.

“Frances has overcome so many things in her young life,” the friend noted. “She’s a survivor.”
