COPS: HILTON INTRUDED UPON

LAPD confirms PARIS HILTON victim of home invasion as a knife wielding thug menaces socialite.

Los Angeles Police Officer Gregory Baek told media  the man was arrested about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday but his name hasn't been released.

Paris Hilton Tweeted that a man was breaking into her mansion and then presumably called cops.

Officer Baek confirmed the attempted burglary had been reported via phone but was unsure whether  the call came from Hilton herself or the alarm system of her in-house security.

Paris later Tweeted a pic of cops taking the suspect away.
