COPS: CHRIS KELLY DIED FROM DRUG OVERDOSE

Atlanta cops say Kriss Kross rapper CHRIS KELLY aka "Mac Daddy" may have died from a drug overdose of heroin and cocaine.

Kelly, 34,  best known as one half of the 1990s rap duo Kris Kross, was found unresponsive in his south Atlanta home and pronounced dead at the hospital Wednesday night.

While a cause of death has not yet been determined with an immediate autopsy slated Fulton County police Cpl. Kay Lester said: "It appears it may have been a possible drug overdose."

The Associated Press reports that evidence was found at Kelly's house.  

Reportedly, heroin and cocaine mixed in a deadly “speedball” combo were found at the scene according to multiple reports.

Kris Kross soared to fame with the multi-platinum 1992 album Totally Krossed Out, which included the No. 1 hit "Jump".
