ANDERSON COOPER has kicked his two-timing boyfriend out of their Manhattan apartment and called off their engagement after seeing photos of the chiseled cheater kissing another man in a New York City park.

The 45-year-old CNN news anchor, who recently came out of the closet, had been dating 39-year-old Ben Maisani, co-owner of the New York gay bar Eastern Bloc, for about three years. The couple had been considering tying the knot sometime before Labor Day.

“Anderson was furious when he saw those photos,” a source told The ENQUIRER. “They caught him completely off-guard.

“Ben runs with a really fast crowd in New York, and Anderson always knew that his boyfriend was exposed to hot young gay men at his bar. But he also believed he could trust Ben to remain faithful to him.”

In the stunning photos, Ben and a dark-haired mystery man can be seen holding hands, hugging and kissing passionately as they sit in the grass at the park. The images are sure to strike a blow to Anderson, who said in an interview in July: “The fact is, I’m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself and proud.”

The ENQUIRER was first to report about Anderson’s relationship with Ben and that they were considering adopting a child from Haiti. The acclaimed newsman and talk-show host had covered the poverty-stricken island nation after it was rocked by a massive earthquake in 2010. Now, all plans are off.

“Anderson’s shattered,” the source added. “He felt secure enough with Ben that he took the bold step of coming out as gay this year. He was confident that their relationship was strong. Now he knows that they are finished forever. Anderson’s a strong man, and he’ll put on a brave face, but the truth is he’s absolutely devastated.”
