CONAN TAKES $45 MIL AND RUNS!

Besieged host Conan O'Brien pockets $45 million package to ankle NBC Tonight Show.
The ginger jokester's seventh run run of the late night perennial ends Friday after more than a week of acrimonious mud slinging in the media AND intense lawyering up.
Both Coco and the Peacock net issued a brief statement saying they'd "reached a resolution".
The pay-out deal includes $33 million for O'Brien with the remainder going to staff severance, most of whom moved to LA from NYC when he took the job.
This clears the way for Jay Leno to return to the 1130 slot after his shocking prime time floperoo.
Under the terms of the peace pact, O'Brien will be excised of any contractual obligation to NBC and will be able to work elsewhere after September 1, 2010.
As the ENQUIRER reported previously NBC had threatened to invoke a possible three-year non-compete clause which would've kept the Conan off the air until the future year of 2013.
Your move, Fox.
