CLINTON RUSHED TO ER!

description

Former President Bull Clinton hospitalized with chest pains, undergoes  heart procedure.

Clintom, 63, had emergency surgery to have two stets inserted in his heart arteries.

His wife, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton jetted from Washington DC to be with her husband who underwent the emergency procedure at New York’s Presbyterian Hospital.

Clinton is said to be "is in good spirits and will continue to focus on the work of his foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts," his  adviser Douglas Band told collected media.

Clinton’s treatment is different than his heart crisis of  2004, when clogged arteries  landed him in the hospital.

He underwent quadruple bypass surgery because of four blocked arteries, which had squeezed almost completely shut.

The insertion of stents are tiny mesh scaffolds used to prop open a clogged arter after it is flushed in an angioplasty procedure.

Surgeons thread a tube through a blood vessel in the groin to a blocked artery, inflate a balloon to flatten the clog, and then slide the stent into place.
