CLINT EASTWOOD’s 16-year marriage has hit another road block – his much-younger wife DINA has resumed her old TV career!
Just weeks after The ENQUIRER reported the 82-year-old screen icon and Dina, 47, are secretly living apart, she spent a week co-anchoring the news on the NBC affiliate in Monterey, Calif.
“It’s been awhile since we opened our newscast this way, so we want to welcome you back,” co-anchor Dan Green told Dina on the 5 p.m. KSBW newscast on Nov. 12.
Dina replied: “Thank you for having me. As always, I love being here.”
A friend told The ENQUIRER: “Dina really missed anchoring the news and plans on doing it a lot more, especially now that she and Clint seem to be going in different directions. I think she wants to make a life of her own again, apart from Clint.”
Dina was working at KSBW when she interviewed Clint in 1993. They fell in love and married in March 1996. Daughter Morgan was born nine months later. But the couple appears to be growing apart, sources say, and they clashed over Dina’s managing the South African boy band Overtone and her E! network reality TV series “Mrs. Eastwood & Company.”
A close family source told The ENQUIRER: “Everyone involved with Dina’s show was well aware that she and Clint were not always together. It was common knowledge they were no longer always living together.”
Dina’s pal added: “In my opinion, it’s been a marriage in name only for a while. They’re both moving on with their lives.”
