American Idol 2003 runner-up Clay Aiken got into a fight with another passenger while aboard a Saturday morning flight to Tulsa, according to a report.
Though no charges were pressed against Aiken, the dispute drew the attention of FBI agents. Special Agent Gary Johnson, who did not confirm Aiken’s identity, said the U.S. Attorney’s Office declined to file charges.
Aiken was heading to Tulsa to do a night show. The singer joked during his concert about being beaten up by a woman earlier that day, concertgoers said afterwards.
The dispute was reportedly over Aiken’s foot resting on the woman’s armrest. According to Johnson, there was an allegation that the woman gave Aiken a “minor shove” during the argument. “At that point the flight crew was able to resolve the situation.” No injuries were reported and the disturbance did not interfere with the flight.
