"I’m clear," the Samantha Who? star told Good Morning America in an interview confirming The ENQUIRER report that she had a double mastectomy.
"Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread," Christina smiled.
"They got everything out, so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
It had been announced earlier this month that Applegate was undergoing treatment for cancer after it was detected by MRI.
The ENQUIRER reported exclusively that the actress had a preventive double mastectomy to keep the cancer from spreading after it was detected in one breast.
Applegate whose mother battled breast cancer has been tested with mammograms for years.
The Emmy and Golden Globe nommed thesp is slated to appear on a multi-channel TV special Stand Up To Cancer to raise funds for cancer research.
