The 52-year-old former supermodel is working behind the scenes to avoid a nasty divorce battle with soon-to-be-ex Peter Cook, who had an affair with his 19-year-old former assistant, Diana Bianchi.
“Christie wants to go on with her life. She’s already been out to social events and is acting like a single woman,” revealed a close source.
“She’s ready to pony up $25 million to get Peter out of her life once and for all!”
Concerned about the effect a lengthy and bitter divorce will have on their young children, Jack, 11, and 8-year-old Sailor Lee, Christie is willing to cut her losses and give Peter the lump sum “to just walk away.”
