LEANN RIMES is putting her career on hold because she’s terrified her marriage is in jeopardy.

The 30-year-old singer, who burst onto the country music scene with the No. 1 hit “Blue” when she was just 13, has only three concerts scheduled for the busy summer touring season – and friends say it’s because she’s afraid to leave her hubby, Eddie Cibrian, home alone.

“Summer is prime time for country singers to go out and play the festival and fair circuits, and LeAnn is giving up a fortune by not touring,” said a friend. “She gets $75,000 a show, so she could easily make $2 million or more this summer. LeAnn is in demand as much as ever, but she turns down almost everything she’s offered.

“She says Eddie doesn’t like to go on the road with her, so she stays home.”

PALS POINT OUT THAT LEANN HAS been a stressed-out mess since marrying TV actor Eddie, 39, in April 2011. The couple came under fire for hooking up while both were married to other people, and she was blasted in a best-selling tell-all by Eddie’s ex, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville.

Making matters worse, both Brandi and sexy waitress Scheana Marie Jancon say that they were involved with Eddie AFTER he started his  affair with LeAnn. Considering those revelations, it’s no wonder LeAnn entered a treatment facility last August for anxiety and stress. And now she’s telling friends her mental health and her marriage are more important to her than singing.

“LeAnn is worried about hitting the road and leaving Eddie to his own devices,” said another source. “Even after four years together, she’s not fully confident in their marriage. She knows how they started – with an affair – and she fears it could happen again.”
