CHARLIZE THERON SMOOCHES THE NIGHT AWAY WITH NEW BEAU
DAZZLING CHARLIZE Theron is enjoying a red-hot new romance with a dashing Italian movie producer -- and their public smooching has all of Rome buzzing.
"The Legend of Bagger Vance" star flew in to Italy to pose for a fashion layout on May 4. After work, she and handsome Fabrizio Lombardo hit the town -- whispering, cuddling, kissing and caressing in some of the poshest spots in Rome until dawn, pals say.
During their whirlwind night out on the town, they couldn't get enough of each other. "He whispered to her, caressed her shoulders -- and she was enchanted," an insider told The ENQUIRER.
In fact, they carried on as if no one else existed -- even though they were in public, surrounded by friends.
Fabrizio, 34, is single and known as an irresistible ladies' man. He heads Miramax studios in Italy.
He and Charlize, 25, had met when she visited Rome previously. This time, she asked him to escort her to a gala bash held in a castle and featuring a performance by legendary Ray Charles.
Before the party, the twosome dined in candlelight with a group of friends.
Charlize Theron, who grew up in South Africa, won an Italian modeling contest at age 16 and moved to Milan.
"They arrived at the Il Bolognese restaurant in the center of Rome at around 10:30 p.m. Inside, Charlize and Fabrizio sat side by side and chatted, ignoring the rest of the group."
At 1 a.m. they left the restaurant for the party. Amazingly, about 300 guests attended and, "none realized the girl with Lombardo was Charlize," divulged the insider.
At 3:30 a.m., their group left and drove to a posh mansion in the exclusive Parioli district of Rome. When they reappeared at dawn, "they said their goodbyes . . . Charlize tenderly embraced Fabrizio with her hands around his neck. They kissed several times and he held her tight in his arms."
Charlize then drove back to her hotel, the St. Regis Grand, and a few hours later, she flew back home to the U.S.
