American Idol alums Chris Daughtry and Carrie Underwood will be on hand for Fox’s second annual “Idol Gives Back” telethon on April 9. They will be joined by celebrity guests like Brad Pitt, Bono, Fergie, John Legend, Miley Cyrus and Mariah Carey.
Last year, the American Idol telethon raised $76 million for American and African aid organizations, making it the most successful television fundraising event ever.
