CBS BLEW BENGHAZI STORY
CBS admits to being hoaxed by 60 MINUTES source who claimed to be onsite during the 20212 attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya.
CBs now says the source wasn’t there and that they were misled.
TV journo Lara Logan said on “CBS This Morning” told media that the Tiffany Net apologizes to viewers and will issue a correction to its "60 Minutes" report that aired October 27.
AP reported that Logan had interviewed Dylan Davies, a security contractor who says he took part in the fighting at that mission.
But the Washington Post reported a few days later that Davies had told his employer that he was not present at the U.S. Embassy.
Davies also told the FBI he was not there.
