DATELINE: OSLO – CASEY KASEM to be laid to rest amid the frozen fjords of Norway.
According to a report in the Norwegian newspaper VG, it’s Kasem’s last stop on his great journey into the "undiscovered country" – the land beyond beyond.
The report was confirmed by Logan Clarke, a private investigator for Kasem's daughter Kerri Kasem who told The Hollywood Reporter, "He's going to be buried in Norway."
As The ENQUIRER reported previously the whereabouts of Kasem’s remains was the subject of a bitter public feud between his daughter and the late DJ’s wife, Jean Kasem.
It is unclear whether or not Kasem will be given a “Viking’s funeral” as is the tradition of the Norse which would allow Kasem to enter Valhalla – the post-mortem abode of the heroic dead.
If so, Kasem would be set adrift on a barge as his compatriots shot flaming arrows onto the craft, setting it ablaze in an incendiary elegy.
