CASEY ANTHONY flushed into the open after ten months in hiding and will now get grilled in courtroom on a defamation rap.

Investigators waited outside Anthony's secluded Florida residence in Florida for several days to serve her with a subpoena. She’s being sued for defamation by a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez

As The ENQUIRER reported previously Casey originally claimed a baby sitter of the same name took her child Caylee when the tot initially disappeared in 2008. There was no baby sitter but this Gonzalez was real and didn’t like being involved in a high profile murder case.

"Our investigation team had her whereabouts pinned down," Matt Morgan, Gonzalez's attorney, told media. "Their backs were against the wall, so her attorneys said that they would accept service on her behalf."

While the exonerated murder mom has been in hiding, Gonzalez’s defamation case has wound its way through the judicial system.

A judge finally ordered that Casey’s lawyers to divulge her whereabouts.

Although Anthony had planned to leave the US after probation in September, she now will must return to Orlando to face Gonzalez, who wants Anthony do something she never did at the criminal trial: face questions under oath in court about Caylee's death.

Anthony is required to appear at trial on Jan. 2, 2013.
