CASEY ANTHONY FACES DEATH

Accused murder mom CASEY ANTHONY will face the death penalty, the presiding judge ruled

In Orlando, Florida yesterday Chief Judge Belvin Perry ruled against Anthony, who is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, at a pre-trial hearing

Anthony’s attorneys argued before the judge that prosecutors had gender bias in seeking the death penalty and had produced an expert witness.

The witness said that a mother who is perceived "deviant" by a jury faces a difficult time in defending herself against criminal charges.

AND in another defense motion, "Societal biases against women provide the state with a way of deflecting attention away from the insufficiency of the evidence in Miss Anthony’s case."

But the judge wasn’t buying what the defense was selling – ruling that if Anthony is found guilty in the murder of Caylee she will face the severest penalty of all – death.
