Defamation trial heats up in latest CASEY ANTHONY legal debacle.
The exonerated murder mom’s lawyers in Orlando, Florida are hoping for change.
As in a “change in venue” – as to where the upcoming defamation trial against Anthony will be held.
While Casey was acquitted last year of murder charges in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, her lawyers argue "the local media refuses to move on".
They also stated that the public feels as if "justice was not served" and are still vehement that she was acquitted.
The crux of the civil case is that when Caylee disappeared during the summer of 2008, Anthony told detectives that a babysitter named Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped the tot.
Investigators determined that no such incident happened and testified thusly during the bombshell homicide trial.
However, as The ENQUIRER previously reported., a real life Zenaida Gonzalez who did not know Anthony prior, she says, claims that Anthony had ruined her reputation.
This Gonzalez is now suing Anthony.
The trial is slated to begin January 2013.
