CAPTAIN AMERICA CHRIS EVANS is rescuing his gay younger brother from drugs!

“The Avengers” star Chris Evans urged his younger sibling Scott into rehab after the former daytime soap star was charged in a drug bust, say insiders.

“Chris is deeply concerned about his little brother,” confided a source close to the two actors.

“Scott swears he doesn’t have a drug problem. But Chris doesn’t want to take any chances. He thinks it would be best if Scott got treatment.”

Scott – who played a police officer on “One Life to Live” – was arrested for allegedly attempting to buy narcotics from an undercover LAPD cop on Dec. 4.

He was charged with attempted possession of a controlled substance, which is a felony, and released on $10,000 bail, according to reports.

After the bust, Scott wrote on his Facebook page: “Most ridiculous night of my life in LA so far. At least I made it a year before getting arrested.”

As The ENQUIRER reported in October, openly gay Scott had a memorable night for the right reasons when his big brother surprised him by showing up at a gay nightclub to help him celebrate his 29th birthday.

Previously, 31-year-old Chris – who’s straight but still a gay icon – had refused to hit clubs with his brother’s pals, saying: “They’ve invited me out to gay bars before, and I said, ‘Look, guys, I’ve got to draw the line there.’”

Meanwhile, Scott has made the leap to the big screen and recently filmed “Behaving Badly,” which stars Selena Gomez.

“Chris has told Scott that if he wants to continue working he needs to show Hollywood he’s clean and sober,” said the source. “And the best way to do that is to go to rehab!”
