BUSH BROLIN BRAWL

description

Actors Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Wright and film crew members shooting Bush bio-pic W were hauled off by Shreveport cops after a riotous bar brawl with Louisiana locals.

The brouhaha occurred Saturday 2 am at the Stray Cat bar.

Shreveport police Sgt. Willie Lewis said police were summoned after a call to deal with a rowdy bar habitué drew interference and fisticuffs from other patrons.

According to The Times of Shreveport, Brolin was booked and posted a $324 cash bond to obtain release.  Police did not confirm that Tony Award winner Wright or the other crew members were released.

Brolin is playing President George W. Bush and Wright former Secretary of State Colin Powell in director Oliver Stone’s Bush biopic.  According to Stone the film answers the question “How did Bush go from being an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?"

Calls to Brolin’s handlers by AP were not returned
