THEY say blondes have more fun – and BRUCE JENNER is hoping to find out!
The former Olympian may be having second thoughts about going through with a sex change procedure to become a woman, but that isn’t stopping him from sporting a feminine new ’do full of golden streaks.
“Bruce says he’s started getting highlights in his hair now, so that by the time summer rolls around he’ll be completely blonde,” revealed a family insider.
“He hopes that when he’s finished, it will look like the sun lightened his hair naturally.
“He thinks he can explain away his lighter hair by saying that he plays a lot of golf.”
The sports legend, 64, – who announced his split from his wife of 22 years, Kardashian matriarch Kris, in October – has denied that he plans to become a woman. But his appearance continues to become more feminine.
On Jan. 19, The ENQUIRER photographed the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star coming out of The Beverly Hills Surgical Center after he underwent a procedure to have his Adam’s apple shaved down. He’s also been growing out both his hair and his fingernails. And on Feb. 11, he debuted his new Goldilocks look.
At this point, Bruce hardly resembles the strapping young athlete who was a high school sports star and took home decathlon gold in the 1976 Olympics.
“Bruce loved all of the attention he got from being an Olympic champion, but that was nearly 40 years ago,” the insider said. “He feels it’s time to live his life the way he wants.
“Despite some mean jokes about his appearance, Bruce is happier than he’s been in a long time.”
