Less than five months after the death of BRITTANY MURPHY, her husband SIMON MONJACK has been found dead.
LAPD reports that the body of the Brit screenwriter was found late Sunday night at his home in Hollywood Hills. 39,
Firefighters rushed to Monjack’s Rising Glen Road mansion on Sunday night after a 911 call came in from Murphy’s mother, Sharon.
Emergency workers tried in vain to resuscitate Monjack but he was pronounced dead at 9:40 P.M.
While the exact cause of death remains unknown, police spokesman Sgt. Louie Lozana said there appears to be no signs of foul play and that Monjack died from natural causes.
"They’re conducting the investigation and they have not relayed any more information back to us yet," he told media.
Sources are reporting now that Monjack may have died from a prescrption drug overdose just like his tragic late wife Brittany Murphy!
Murphy died December 20 after collapsing at home. The coroner had ruled her death accidental but preventable — dying of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
An emotionally distraught Monjack, at Murphy’s funeral in December, called her his best friend and soul mate.
