Britney Spears was photographed driving her SUV while holding her 16-week-old baby, Sean Preston, on her lap on Feb. 6. According to California law, children “must be secured in an appropriate child-passenger restraint [a safety or booster seat] until they are at least 6 years old or weigh at least 60 pounds.” Robert Sinclair, a spokesman for the American Automobile Association told The New York Post, “There aren’t enough words to describe how stupid she is. She placed herself and her child in grave danger. He said if Spears had braked her SUV suddenly, her baby would become a projectile, crashing through the windshield. “And if the airbag goes off, it’s going to launch the child into her face or her chest. The child is going to be killed without a doubt,” Sinclair added.
