A thrilled BRITNEY SPEARS has said “I do” to beau David Lucado’s marriage proposal – and now she’s planning a secret wedding in Hawaii, say sources.
“Britney is head over heels in love again and wants to marry soon after the new year,” revealed a family insider.
Britney has been dating the 28-year-old Virginia native for nearly nine months and told an interviewer: “He’s just a simple man. I adore him. He’s really funny and he’s really passionate.”
Shortly before he proposed, David, who worked in a law firm, took the 32-year-old singer to visit his family in his hometown of Appomattox, Va., because his 93-year-old grandmother wanted to size her up.
Happily, grandma and the rest of his family gave their approval, and Britney’s parents are said to be equally enthusiastic about the match.
“During her visit, Britney saw that David has country roots similar to her own in Louisiana,” said the source.
Britney has been wed twice before, briefly to Jason Alexander and then to Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons – Sean, 8, and Jayden, 7.
“Britney is ready to marry again and have more children,” revealed the source.
“She’s dying to have a little girl and she’s certain she’s found the right man this time.
"This is the first time she’s let a man actually propose to her. In her other two marriages, she proposed to them.
“Now she’s busy making elaborate plans for a Hawaiian wedding and favors Maui, where she’s had many wonderful times.”
