Bristol Palin tried to call a truce in her war with estranged baby daddy Levi Johnston, but all she did was make the feud worse!
That’s the claim of pals of Levi, 19, who are accusing the 18-year-old daughter of former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin of lying on national TV.
"I’d love for Levi to be part of his (son Tripp’s) life," Teen Prego Queen Bristol recently said on the Today show.
But a pal of Levi’s told The ENQUIRER: "Bristol is lying! She’s trying to make it appear now that she’s determined to jointly raise her child with Levi, but behind the scenes she won’t let him see Tripp unless it’s under strict supervision.
"Levi knows she’s just paying him lip service, and he’s moving ahead with taking legal action so he can see his boy on his own terms."
After Bristol’s Today show appearance, Levi seemed to accept Bristol’s public attempt at reconciliation, saying on CBS’ The Early Show: "She seems to trust me a little more…hopefully, you know, she holds to her word on that."
But Levi’s pal said: "Levi is trying to take the high road, but he’s counting on seeing his kid only after he can get a custody agreement in court.
"He knows that Bristol is only pretending to extend an olive branch because her mother told her she had to appear ‘grown up’ on TV. She seems to have no intention of letting Levi into Tripp’s life unless a court tells her so."
