PAUL SIMON and his wife arrested in New Canaan, Connecticut on disorderly conduct charges!
Paul Simon and his wife, Edie Brickell, formerly of the New Bohemians, have been arrested on disorderly conduct charges, a police spokesperson confirmed, declining to elaborate.
Simon, a 12-time Grammy winner is a member of the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame – as half of the duo of Simon and Garfunkel and as a solo artist.
Edie had a hit in 1988 “What Am I” with the New Bohemians.
The two were married in 1992.
The couple will be arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court, Ct. late today. NBC reported they were arrested on domestic incident charges. .
Simon has been married three times – including “Star Wars” princess Carrie Fisher in 1983. They divorced the following year but got back together before splitting up for good.
Simon’s agent in Los Angeles did not immediately return a comment call regarding the arrest.
