“BREAKING BAD” star BRYAN CRANSTON was a bad, BAD boy!

The former “Malcolm in the Middle” dad, now 56 and a father himself, recently revealed that he lost his virginity to a prostitute at age 16 while on a “teen police explorer” trip to Europe.

“Beer is a nickel, and the hookers are cheap – it was 24 Dutch guilders, which I think was $8, to get laid,” he recently told an interviewer.

“We’re all writing home to our parents for more money, ‘We’re having such a good time, Mom and Dad! Please send more money!’”

A source close to the actor, who’s starring with Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel in the reboot of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger flick “Total Recall,” told The ENQUIRER: “Looking back on it now, Bryan thinks it’s pretty funny. I mean, here he was with a teen police group and they were running wild, getting into trouble and learning about sex from hookers!”

What wasn’t as funny was Bryan’s home life.

“There was alcohol abuse…it was ugly,” he said. “I didn’t see my father for 10 years.”

Bryan now draws on his painful past for his often-angry portrayal of chemistry teacher-turned-meth-kingpin Walter White in the AMC drama “Breaking Bad.” He’s won three Emmys for the role.

Born in  Canoga Park, California, Bryan made his acting debut at the age of 8 in a “United Way” commercial, but it wasn’t until after college that showbiz became a serious consideration.

He said with a laugh: “I wanted to be a professional baseball player until I realized that I brought a new meaning to the word ‘mediocre.’”
