BREAKING AMISH IS A SHAM!

BREAKING AMISH” is being blasted as a made-for-TV fraud as hit reality show ISN'T legit!

The hit new TLC series follows four fresh-faced young Amish and a Mennonite as they leave their communities to make their way in New York City. But a Kentucky couple claims they opened their home to “Breaking Amish” stars Rebecca and Abe Schmucker in 2010, and the two are not like they’re portrayed on TV.

“Rebecca and Abe are not two kids who fall in love as the show is being filmed,” Shannon Edwards of Columbia, Ky., told The ENQUIRER. “They’ve been out of the Amish community for some time, and they’ve been a couple for years. They stayed in a camper behind our home for several months in 2010 while Rebecca was pregnant with their baby girl.”

And while Rebecca, 20, implies on the show that she’s never used modern appliances or worn a bathing suit, that’s not true either, says Shannon.

“Rebecca used our washer and dryer and other appliances all the time,” Shannon said. “She’d hang out by the pool in a little bitty bikini, and Abe liked to drink alcohol.”

In fact, according to court records obtained by The ENQUIRER, Abe, 22, was busted in Columbia in April 2008 for public intoxication!

Shannon’s husband Adrian added: “Abe worked for my landscaping company, and the last time I saw them, they were riding around in a fancy new pickup truck.

“We figured he’d gotten a new job. Now we know what that job was – working on that phony TV show!”

An ENQUIRER investigation into other members of the “Breaking Amish” cast reveals that Jeremiah Raber, Katie Stoltzfus and Sabrina High aren’t the naive young adults they claim to be either. Court records in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, show Raber, 32, is a divorced father of three whose ex-wife accused him of being physically abusive and a deadbeat dad!

When Raber’s then-wife Naomi Stutzman, 27, filed for divorce in February 2011, she charged him with “extreme cruelty and gross neglect” of duty. And while “Breaking Amish” portrays Katie Stoltzfus, 22, as the daughter of an Amish bishop, sources say she’s been driving a car, dressing non-Amish and working in a Ruby Tuesdays restaurant in Lebanon, Pa.

While TLC admitted Katie was busted in April for a DUI in Boca Raton, Fla., they glossed over the fact that she submitted a photo to an online modeling contest back in 2010.

As for Sabrina High, The ENQUIRER can reveal the 25-year-old – who says that she’s an adoptee of Puerto Rican-Italian descent – left the Mennonite community years ago. She appeared on NatGeo’s “Amish at the Altar” and has been married for three years.

As Raber’s ex-wife Stutzman told a TV interviewer: “The show is a fake!”
