Brfad was signed autographs for fans at the gala Hollywood premier of partner in parenting Angelina Jolie’s new spin on “Sleeping Beauty” when an infamous trouble maker smacked Brad Pitt in the puss, LAPD said.
Pitt was at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, California, when Vitalii Sediuk leaped over a security barrier and hit him, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Gus Villanueva.
Pitt was not seriously hurt as cops and security quickly took down the Brad slapper. Sediuk was arrested for misdemeanor battery and remained in police custody on Wednesday night, Villanueva said.
Sediuk is being held pending payment of $20,000 bail.
“The officers who were handling him said it looked like it was intentional, but at this point, it remains to be determined,” LAPD Sergeant Leonard Calderon told media.
Sediuk, 25, is a Ukrainian TV reporter who has often pranked celebrities at red carpet events and has gotten into altercations with Leornado Di Caprio among others.
