Hollywood golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took a sensational baby secret to the altar!
Back in May, sources told The National ENQUIRER that Brad, 50, and Angie, 39, would pull off their long-anticipated nuptials in a quiet family-only affair at their secluded 1,000-acre Chateau Miraval estate in southern France – and that’s exactly what happened.
Now we can reveal that a secret motivation finally propelled them down the aisle Aug. 23 after 10 years and six children together.
“Angie got married now because she still wants to have another baby with him,” divulged a source close to the couple. “But she wanted to be his bride first so they fast-tracked the wedding.”
The stars, worth a combined $300 million, have three biological and three adopted children – and sources say Angie is hoping for another biological child before time runs out.
“Angelina would like to have her baby the old-fashioned way,” said the source, “but if doctors determine that she has to have her ovaries removed sooner rather than later, she’s open to the idea of having her eggs harvested and frozen, and then letting a surrogate carry their child to term.”
The couple’s wedding – kept secret from the world for five days – took place with the help of their beloved kids. Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their twice-divorced mom down the aisle, while Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw rose petals. Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers.
A California judge who got the couple their marriage license conducted the civil ceremony, which was attended by Brad’s family.
Angie’s dad, actor Jon Voight, who’s had an off-on relationship with his daughter, was not invited.
The low-key wedding also delivered a slap in the face to Angie’s longtime love rival – Brad’s ex Jennifer Aniston, who lost her hubby when he fell for Angie on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2004.
“After all these years, there’s still bad blood, and Angie wanted to beat Jen and her fiancé Justin Theroux to the altar,” said the source.
“Adding insult to injury, the news came just as Jen was promoting her new movie ‘Life of Crime.’ Leave it to Angie to steal Jen’s thunder!”
