Bob Beckel is now the latest casualty at the changing Fox News Channel!
The long-time political strategist and regular panelist on “The Five” was let go for allegedly making a racially insensitive remark to a black colleague!
Beckel had apparently stormed out of his office when the man entered to do technical work on his computer, allegedly only because he was black.
The man’s lawyer, who currently represents 22 other clients with cases against Fox, claims Beckel attempted to intimidate his client and get him to withdraw his complaint in a meeting later in the week in front of a Network executive.
Fox denied that anyone tried to persuade the employee to withdraw his complaint, and said that Beckel had apologized to him after he was fired.

Beckel was originally shelved by Fox in June 2015 while dealing with substance abuse issues, recently returning to the show in January.
He is also the author of, “I Should Be Dead: My Life Surviving Politics, TV and Addiction.”
Ironically, “The Five” recently moved into Fox News’ prime-time lineup, following the recent cancellation of “The O’Reilly Factor” and firing of host Bill O’Reilly.
The network is still embroiled in many legal cases regarding O’Reilly and the recently deceased network chairman Roger Ailes.
“We intend on holding 21st Century Fox accountable for these actions and will be filing multiple other complaints in other matters next week,” said a statement by the employee’s representatives.
