JOHN SCHNEIDER who starred on THE DUKES OF HAZZARD as Bo Duke in trouble with the law — the tax man.
After falling behind on payments, the rugged Schneider agreed to pay in full and he didn’t have to auction off the General Lee.
Schneider and the missus were dab smacked with tax demands from California state auditors for more than $28,000 in back taxes.
A lien against all earnings was filed against the Schneiders in May.
Schneider blames a former accountant who messed up big time.
"This is actually something that fell through the cracks when our old bookkeeper left us high and dry," Schneider said.
"I spoke to our tax guy this morning and plan to write a check to pay the tax debt in its entirety this week."
