"Green Lantern" costars BLAKE LIVELY and RYAN REYNOLDS have wed after dating for only a year.
Reynolds, 35, tied the knot with the Gossip Girl star, 25, in an extremely private ceremony Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, near Charleston, multiple media outlets are reporting.
The reception took place in a white tent at the plantation and Lively’s good friend, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, performed three songs. Bette Midler also reportedly sang, and there was also a deejay on hand.
Reportedly, the guests included only close friends, but that a few Hollywood types, including Lively’s manager, were also invited.
This is the second marriage for Reynolds. He was previously married to actress Scarlett Johansson from 2008-2011, but their union ended in divorce. Reynolds was also engaged to You Oughta Know singer Alanis Morissette from 2004-2007, but they never married, RadarOnline.com reported.
This is Blake’s first marriage after previously dating Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley and Leonardo DiCaprio
Reynolds and Lively met while filming 2011’s Green Lantern where they exhibited zero on-screen chemistry; six months after they started dating, the couple purchased a property together in Westchester County, just north of New York City.
