Bionic Roseanne Barr!

Sitcom queen ROSEANNE BARR underwent secret eye surgery a year ago, but she’s not going blind, her son has told The National ENQUIRER.

“In fact, the surgery has improved her vision,” Jake Pentland said in an exclusive interview.

The surgery involved giving the 62-year-old funny lady a man-made cornea replacement, according to Jake.

“She calls it her ‘cyber eye.’ She’s very happy with it. She says that she can see further and read computer screens,” said Jake, 36.

Jake opened up to The ENQUIRER after he said an interview with his brash-talking mother was misconstrued.

At the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on April 19, Roseanne revealed that she has glaucoma and macular degeneration, leading to headlines that she was going blind!

She later tweeted: “I said that someday I would lose my eyesight – that it’s narrowed some – I’m not blind now nor will I be in the near future.”

In another post, the Emmy-winning actress talked about her symptoms: “I got a cyber lens in my left eye. The worst pain comes from flash bulbs … so it’s hard to work with bright lights.”

Jake added: “She’s not going blind. She’s just getting old! She’s pooh-poohed this, and says it’s an exaggeration. She’s not tripping over the cat, and she’s still driving a car.

"She’s not receiving any medical treatment for this as far as I know. My mother has good doctors and [because of her eye problems] a prescription for medical marijuana. The pot helps her.”
