Reverend Billy Graham, 89, hospitalized!

Graham who turns 90 next month had bent over to pet his golden retriever Sam when he toppled and fell at his Montreat, North Carolina home.

Hospital spokesman said the righteous rev had no broken bones but suffered intense discomfort and bruising.

For six decades Graham led a worldwide evangelical crusade, packing stadiums with millions of followers. Graham has also counseled every President from Harry S. Truman to George W. Bush.

Earlier this year Graham had elective surgery to control excess fluid on the brain that causes problems similar to Parkinson’s disease. Other recent health problems for Graham included a bout with prostate cancer and intestinal bleeding.

After an overnight stay and thorough set of X-rays, Graham was released from the hospital.
