Bill Murray was recently served with divorce papers from his wife citing abusive and drunk behavior, but new evidence suggests she’s a pretty mean drunk herself.
Jennifer Butler-Murray evidently has quite the rep in the Murray’s Charleston, South Carolina suburban neighborhood as a chronic, abusive boozer — according to court documents obtained by The New York Post.
This past March, Butler-Murray allegedly got plastered, sending her children running to a neighbor’s house for help, a police report said.
"The complainant met me at the police station to talk with the juveniles," the report stated.
"They informed me that their mother had been drinking heavily and had [become] physical with them."
As Bill Murray was in California at the time, the children were sent to stay with a family friend until his return.
Richard Rosen, Butler-Murray’s attorney, declined to comment on The New York Post story.
