In the latest setback for disgraced sitcom star Bill Cosby, a judge in Pennsylvania has dismissed the latest attempt by the comic’s legal team to have sexual assault charges dismissed!

Cosby’s legal team was trying to get around a recent ruling by Judge Steven O’Neill — who previously declared that, despite Cosby’s claims, a deal that the celeb once made with a former Pennsylvania DA couldn’t get him off the hook for sexual assault charges.

Andrea Constand — then an employee of Pennsylvania’s Temple University — went to the police in 2004 to claim that Philadelphia native Cosby had just drugged and assaulted her at his Pennsylvania home.

Bruce Castor was serving as District Attorney at the time, and declared publicly in 2005 that Andrea and Cosby both behaved in “a less than flattering light.”

Cosby was still forced to settle a civil lawsuit with Andrea — and The National ENQUIRER revealed how the pervy performer had given a deposition where the married man admitted to several sexual relationships with young women!

Cosby had claimed that Castor promised that he’d never be prosecuted on the charges. Judge O’Neill ruled that new DA Kevin Steele — who campaigned on arresting the comic — was still free to pursue the criminal case.

The latest attempt to dismiss the case was filed by Cosby’s legal team on February 12, but O’Neill ruled that Cosby still had to attend a scheduled March 8 preliminary hearing.

“It is hereby ordered and decreed that the motion is denied, “ wrote Judge Steven O’Neill on Tuesday — clearing the way for another humiliating court appearance for Cosby.
