Guitar legend B.B KING passed away at his Las Vegas home on May 14 – just months after his outraged daughter came to The National ENQUIRER with claims that the elderly legend was being worked to death!

“I don’t think he should be pushing himself like that!” Shirley King, 65, told The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview.

“He’s 89 years old! That’s my dad, and I’m only concerned about his health.”

Shirley was raging against B.B.’s management team, which she claimed was keeping her frail father on a touring schedule that was slowly killing him – and kept B.B. from talking with his concerned offspring.

“I’m not around,” warned Shirley. “You have to talk to HIS people. I’m not involved.”

Just last month, two of B.B.’s other daughters – Patty King and Karen Williams – claimed that the bluesman famous for “The Thrill Is Gone” was a victim of elder abuse at the hands of longtime manager Laverne Toney.

Karen also claimed her father fell and bashed his face because the caregiver hired by Laverne was passed out drunk!

Fans of the blues legend had also become concerned after B.B. began to appear confused and struggled during recent performances in Kansas City and Phoenix.

During an October 3 concert in Chicago, B.B.’s breathing was described as “shallow,” and he was later hospitalized with dehydration and exhaustion.

Laverne’s lawyer had consistently denied the daughters’ charges, and insisted the singer always received proper care.
