WE warned you, Camille!

Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer should have heeded The ENQUIRER’s heads-up two years ago when we broke the story of her hot-tempered boyfriend’s link to a world of violence.

Now Camille has become headline news as the victim of an alleged beating by her bankruptcy lawyer beau Dimitri Charalambopoulos in a Houston hotel room while she was recovering from cancer surgery. Other media are just now picking up on our bombshell November 2011 story, when we exposed Dimitri’s brother Tommy as a Dallas strip club entrepreneur with a lengthy rap sheet and hair-trigger temper.

Tommy earned the nickname “The Ripper” for viciously knifing a man at a club. He was also accused of raping a dancer and has been convicted of drunk driving and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

And we quoted a source who said that Camille’s ex-husband Kelsey Grammer didn’t want their two young kids exposed to anyone from the Charalambopoulos family, calling it “an awful risk.”

“Camille wishes she had followed her gut at the time of The ENQUIRER article and immediately kicked Dimitri to the curb,” revealed a close source. “But Camille was rushing into romance. She was on the rebound from her bitter marriage to Kelsey, who dumped her for a younger woman. Love is blind, and she ignored the article about Dimitri’s brother. Now she sure wishes she hadn’t.”

On Oct. 16, Dimitri, 37, appears to have shown he could be as violent as his notorious brother when he allegedly attacked Camille during an argument. “(He) squeezed my nose between his fingers and pushed upward forcefully, covering my mouth in an attempt to silence me to prevent me from breathing,” Camille, 45, claimed in her successful application for a temporary restraining order.

Her application also stated:“(He) was repeatedly slamming my head and face into the furniture and completely immobilizing me.”

She wound up with major bruises and a large contusion on her head. Badly shaken, Camille has hired round-the-clock security to keep her safe.

If only she’d listened to The ENQUIRER .
