Aging pop star, “Mandy” singer BARRY MANILOW falls prey to decrepitude as his hips have disintegrated, The ENQUIRER had learned.
Manilow’s rep revealed the 68-year-old entertainer was hospitalized today for surgery to remove fluid and repair torn muscles in both hips.
Manilow had waited until he performed his 1,000th Las Vegas gig, ending a seven-year run at two seperate resorts before having the surgery.
It will take Manilow nearly six weeks to recover before his next scheduled gig in Chicago on Feb. 2.
